Ok...
When Idina/Kristin leave, who should take over these roles?
I think Sherie Rene Scott would be a great Glinda, and yet she's got the chords for Elphaba.
I think we should wait a while before we play the casting game-lol. The show hasn't even opened yet. Let me see it, and I'll get back to you.

Coleen Sexton should inherit Elphaba after Idina
Kristin better be fantastic... Schwartz said he wrote that role with her in mind!
Okay- I know I said I don't want to play, but I LOVE Colleen Sexton. She is absolutely amazing. I really hope she takes over. I would kill to see her on Broadway again.

The few people who've told you this are not your friends.
Idina Menzel IS Elphaba -- and Elphaba is the emotional core of this show.
Kristen Chenoweth is extremely good as Galinda...but her character is NOT central to the piece. San Francisco audiences were NOT wrong...Idina Menzel is a MAJOR star in this performance...and it is her voice and her performance that got us on our feet cheering performance after performance.
Let none of your poorly "informed" friends worry you a bit.
I took down the link because a few people thought I ought to, and even though we all know the internet is THE source for "goodies" like that, I respect their reasons and so... poof! Vanished. If someone out there would like it, just PM me.

Edit: Didn't see the date of the OP, sorry.
Strange to see the way a property is treated before it becomes a mainstay.
Wow, this was a fascinating blast from the past! Def. agreed, darquegk!
So, why was this gem dug up? Was it so we could see Namo's thrilling performance from almost 10 years ago?
Excellent work Namo! It's sad that the other half of the conversation NEVER caught on...
