The Brd family won two seats to the lotto and after much negotiations, I took C8 while the rest of the family shopped on Michigan Ave. Today, no understudies - Kristy, Stacie, Gene, Rhondi, Telley, and Kristoffer were outstanding! The ticket was $2.50 more than that dreadful Rent production.
(And, by the way, from what I could see – all of the AEA actors were in character during every moment and paying attention to the action!)
This cast is outstanding!

Yeah everyone is equity, but that should have nothing to do with their performance. Equity doesn't mean that you are BETTER than non equity - you've either worked more in your career thus far or have chosen to go equity when some people decide not to. There are plenty of actors who are equity who kind of suck and non equity actors who are wonderful.
Just depends on each actor's situation...
