I agree - I really like the threads that are dated so I can use the SEARCH function that everyone wants everyone else to use. Its only a few more days, its a big deal to a lot of people, and personally, I like hearing the little curtain call anecdotes, esp. because JLT and everyone seem to be really having fun this last week (not that they don't make it fun all other times). Grin and bear people! Or don't waste your time complaining and skip over the thread!

I thought Walter was supposed to be playing Boq this week?

Playbill first put an article up confirming Walter as Boq for the week. The article was later replaced by one confirming Rob was playing Boq.

ElphieZ, it's only a few more days? You mean 'Wicked' is closing?! That's awful news, where did you hear it?

Actually, you wouldn't need the search function if 'Wicked' reviews were on the same thread, but even so it would still work just as well. In addition please explain how you would lose information such as curtain call anecdotes? It's all right there. In one scrollable page.

I don't expect y'all to change your minds. I don't know if it's like some sick competition to have the most threads, or just denseness, but at least think it through. Arguments like that aren't valid. Not one green little bit.

And as I've pointed out (one last time!!!) in what seems a million times:

MY POINT IS NOT TO GET PEOPLE TO STOP POSTING ABOUT 'WICKED'. PLEASE POST, IN FACT POST MORE. JUST STOP CREATING NEW THREADS EVERY TIME THE GREEN WITCH FARTS!

YOU CAN'T JUST "SKIP OVER" THESE THREADS, THEY CLUTTER THE LIST OF OTHER THREADS. THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

Thank you for reading, now I return you to your regularly scheduled discourse.

I thought her name was Ideden Menzespinoza?

JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

eh.. both are interchangeable. 90% of the 'wicked' fans couldn't recognize her out of make-up if their lives depended on it.. they go chasing down the poor ensemble girls thinking that they are 'Elphaba'.

Great review. I personally enjoy the seperate threads. I read posts at work sometimes (Like right now!) and don't have time to scroll through and read multiple pages. (I still have not gotten halfway through that Anthony Rapp thread!) I do enjoy the daily posts. They, and most of the posts here, are very valuable to me in helping to decide what I want to see in New York. I must agree though, some of the posts that just go on about how good the show is, etc. are a bit much. But I skip over them. I was not going to see Wicked again in New York, but thanks to some of these reviews, I just might. It will be in Denver next fall so it will be fun to see all of these different performances. Plus I love the music. JMHO!

You went to the box office so early, justice! but at least you got something!

A dancer might dream to see her name in lights and mean it, but all she really dreams is to make someone else feel the way she did when she first saw a dancer. And that is so beautiful-Anonymous

ckeaton - never mentioned anything about losing information about curtain calls. don't know where that assumption came from.

just stating my preference for the individual threads with dates on them. like uncageg, i too prefer not to go through pages of just one thread.

and though your sarcasm is duly noted, you and i both know that the "its only a few more days" comment was in regards to the last days that idina is in the show. i don't think anyone doubts that the board won't have as much (though still a lot) of wicked posts once she's left the show.

cheers!

Can I just add that the only threads that really bother me, are the ones that ask questions whose answers can easily be found online. Example, there is a thread going now asking who is in the touring cast of Wicked (Toronto productions of Wicked). I figure, if one has found their way to this site, they must be reading other sites related to theatre. And that info can be found there. JMO
