Kristin has no desire to return to the show - she's making 2% of the profits from each production of Wicked around the world each week, as she has said before, she's moved on.

This can't be true. Do you know how much she would be making!

I can understand directors and designers, but an actress who originated a role, 5 years ago? Seems like if this is true, which I doubt, the producers would have found a way to get out of it by now.

You do realize that each production is not making a $1.4 million profit each week. Wicked's running costs are somewhere in the $600,000s.
