I know this sounds stupid but on Ticketmaster, they have a place for codes!! I'm wondering if any are floating through the net? Thanks!

Highly unlikely.

When things sell out at full price, the producers have no reason to discount. The spot for codes pops up automatically.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

"The spot for codes pops up automatically."

The discount code box does not pop up automatically. There's usually a reason it is there. The Addams Family is on Ticketmaster, yet doesn't have a discount code box.

In regards to Wicked, there is in fact a code you can enter in the box. It is not really a discount, but rather a code that gives you access to certain seating areas and/or a free gift with your ticket. So sometimes the discount code box appears for certain shows which have these exclusive promotions tied to them and have nothing to do with discounted tickets.

For Wicked, the current code (PLUM) is available 8/24/2010 to 9/30/2010 for select Tue 7pm, Wed 2/8pm, Thur 8pm performances. You have to purchase by 5/31/2010. The code gives you access to reserved orchestra seats in August and September. The offer price is $111.25.
