Wicked Cast Recording Question

Hi All,

I received this email from a friend, and wondered if anyone had any answers.

okay, on the broadway cast recording i had of Wicked (before i lost it / someone stole it) didnt have a track on it called, "Wicked Witch of the East" but i always thought it should, but whatever...and i tried to look it up, and apparently it is a song on the track list, but its not actually on the recording...are there versions that actually have that song?

No, they have never released a version of this song as they thought it gave away too much story and was too "Bity" to make a full song out of it for the cast recording!

No, WICKED WITCH OF THE EAST isn't on any recording. And that's a shame.

I might be wrong, but doesn't the special edition version with all of the bonus tracks have "The Wicked Witch of the East?"

EDIT: Apparently, I am most definitely wrong.
