It is rumoured that Donna Vivino was offered the role in 2011 after Teal Wicks but declined instead opting for the Standby Position.

Plus, a standby gig is salary so you’re paid weekly even if you never go on. Not everyone has the urge to perform 8 times a week so this type of gig is quite appetizing. She does have to be on call at all times but she doesn’t have to go to the theatre every performance day.
