Hi again everbody,


So today I sang NGD in front of Joey McIntyre... How ridiculous is that? Talk about pressure... I was contestant number 11. I didn't win, but it's cool. Getting to sing in front of Stephen Schwartz, Joe Mantello, Bernie Telsey, Shoshana, and Joe Mac was definitely enough to totally and 100% make my year. Thanks so much to all of you who came out to see us finalists. I got to meet so many people and had a blast!! (Hi Gaby). So it was a cool day, I'm sure a lot of you were there. I included some pics below. Quick story: I had to pee so bad, as I had about 4 Venti teas and a few bottles of water. I went into the Gershwin and of course the bathrooms were closed, but I had a staff pass that all of the finalists got, so they actully let me in to use the bathroom!! Needless to say, the temptation to peek into the theatre was too great to resist, so I opened the door and snapped a picture before I ran to the bathroom. The theatre was dark of course, and I had to photoshop the pic just to see anything, but the experience of standing alone in that theatre with just a bare bulb on the stage was wild...surreal. When I got a second to talk to Joey McIntyre, I told him that I broke into the theatre and he laughed. Anyway, I'd love to hear anybody's take on the whole day, and again, thanks so much to all of you who came over to say Hi and who rooted for me onstage today. The BWW community is the best!!

If you right-click on the photo and then go to properties, the link to the picture is there and it works to get the pictures from that.

This is weird because you look like a contestant that I met at the Yonkers semifinals but you said that you won at the Long Island semifinals.

I was at Stew Leonard's but I didn't get selected there. At Stew's they chose Constantine and Betsy, so I had to truck out to Long Island to try again.

Ya! that was you! I was sitting in front of you with my mom and little brother. And the really green girl was standing to the left of us. And then afterwards, you told me how I shouldve won, and then Katherine said I should do AllCounty and that she was going to come see me.

No..I didn't get there. My aunt was supposed to take me but then she cancelled on me Friday night and I couldn't find anyone to take me in time. I wanted to go though. Now that I found out that you two were finalists, I am really dissapointed that I didn't go. I'm sure my mom will be dissapointed she couldnt go to. She was at a party today and therefore wouldve taken me.

My friend wants to know if you have any more pictures from today, and especially of Shoshana.

My boyfriend had the camera for most of the day, and he didn't get much, but katherine's family came down and took pics. When I get copies I'll put them on the site.

Congratulations on getting through. I wish I went to the Long Island semifinals too. Maybe I might have had a chance because they picked 5 there. What numbers were u and Katherine at the Yonkers one.

We were early, like 5 & 6. In LI we held back a bit and went in the late teens.
