I will be going to New York in may and already have RENT tickets but I was wondering on a 2pm wicked show in mid may what are the chances of getting the tickets and I know that they give 26seats in the first 2 rows but if there are any more unsold seats in the theatre will they sell those also
Any Info Helpful please.
I'm pretty sure it's 28 seats in the front row at Wicked. It's not the first two rows.
The lottery is always crazy. And no, there aren't unsold seat discounts because rarely are there unsold seats. There's a cancellation line for full-price you can wait for if you want.
It's all of the first row and 4 seats in the second row on the right and left sides closest to the center. It's all luck so just go and try and hope for the best.
Every time I've done the Wicked lottery, there have been a lot of people. But it's all odds...and if you don't get it, you can easily see something else with the amount of time before curtain. They don't release any unsold seats at lottery prices, and Wicked still demands a high ticket value year round and seems to sell out every week...there may be seats available, but maybe not after the lottery has taken place, or maybe not at all. If your heart is set on seeing Wicked for a particular performance, I'd purchase them ahead of time.
I know that only one entry is allowed on the wicked lottery but can the person I go with and I both put in a ticket and if both of are names a pulled do we need to buy all four tickets or can we just not redeem one of the tickets, so someone else can get them?
If both of you win, you do not have to purchase all four tickets.
does the TKTS booth usually have Wicked tickets?
No.

TKTS has never had Wicked. Maybe in the first month before it opened, but that's it. It probably wont get them for a few more years. Just try the lotto. It's interesting. I've tried 3 times and lost all 3 lol. But I'm only 1 person. It's usually less crowded for a 2 pm show. Like maybe 50-60 instead of 100-200.
