So this was my third time seeing Wicked, and eveytime is different. This performance was really great because 1) I saw a fantastic standby 2) The new choreographyand 3)The new lines 4) My seats: mid-mezz row f-great seats for a great price.

Side note: Kendra has a new wig, its straight like Megan Hilty's I loved it.

The cast did a fantastic job.

Kendra Kassebaum-Great actress, has no trouble hitting those higher notes. Very funny. She was very hyper during popular. Her Glinda is funny yet more msture.

Lisa Brescia: Did a fantastic job. She got a very nice entrance appluase. Her acting was supberb. She really touched the audience. Her wizard and I was so strong and her defying gravity was through the roof. At cetain points during the show, she reminded me of Idina Menzel. She is perfect for the role of Elphaba.

Sebastian Arcelus- He was great as Fiyero. He was played a great young Fiyero, I really enjoyed his performance.

Lenny Wolpe- He reminded me of Joel Grey a little. He was really good. I liked his performance.

Cristy Candler- Was my favorite Nessarose. She did a really good job acting and singing. Her acting is what really got me.
Wicked With of the East was fantastick.

Logan Lipton-Ok seriously, the show could do w/o him. He was ok with signing, but his acting was just annoying. It made yout think he talks like a moron in real life. He would be better if he toned down the nerd a little.

Jane Houdyshell-
I thought she was fantastick as Madamme Morrible. She was mean and nasty, funny and charming,an all around great actress. And she sang yeah!!!

Steven Skybell- He was good as Dillamond. I really don't have much to say, its such a bland role.

Ensemble- Was so strong. There voices blended together was great. Also the orchestra was so much better than previous performances I have seen. The new lighting was also a huge factor as well.

So overall the show was great. Eveyone gave a superb performance.

There are new lines? I've only seen Wicked twice (pre-Broadway and in May), but what's considered new?

When is the new choreography? Is it during Dancing Through Life?

When is Lisa going on again? I've heard such wonderful things about her I'd like to catch her if possible.

Has Fleming replaced Logan as Boq? From your description, it honestly sounds like Logan's (annoying) performance.

And it's *Cristy Candler (not to be confused with *Kristy Cates re: Wicked Review 7-19-07-Lisa Brescia as Elphaba)

Sorry it was Logan. I was thinking of the Chicago cast for some reason. And yeah it was so annoying.

I'm not sure when Lisa is going on again, I was really happy to see her though. She was fantastck.

Glad you enjoyed Lisa's performance. I have seen her go on as Elphaba twice and honestly, she was brilliant. Looking forward to seeing more of her work in the future. A wonderful performer and definitely the nicest actor I have ever met.

She totally is a great performer. I enjoyed her work so much. She was fabulous in Dear Old Shiz. Her acting was incredible. I hope she can go on more. I know that she has gone on quite a bit this month and this week due to Julia not feeling well.
