Wicked Tour Lottery

I just did the lottery for the Wicked tour in Ft. Myers. Although I didn't win, they gave everyone half-price seats in the balcony. Is this normal for all shows, just Wicked, or perhaps just this venue?

I've never heard of that, but in Chicago, they would SOMETIMES raffle off whatever limited view seats they had left, which were all over the theatre for $25.

It's because, at BBM, they've recouped the money they needed. They're ahead so they give those tickets out at that price. Wicked makes a killing.
