Anyway, that's what's happening to the english language. They're making it shorter and shorter, easier and easier.

just for clarification, I don't live in NYC either.
Kristin is a doll, Idina is Idina, Norbert is somewhat nice but always rushed, Michelle is the same as Norbert, Joel is nice, and Carole is extremely nice...especially to young people, she says she loves seeing us at the theatre :)

Awww I am going to the show this wednesay- i am hoping so see some of them becasue its going to be like my first broadway show in like 5 years. haha horrible i know. anyway as i was sayingg > I have "played" elphaba in school talent shows and things like that. obviosuly not PLAY her becuase as many have confirmed it is illegal. So i, sang songs she wouldve i guess i could put. We did, "wizard and i" "one short day" "defying gravity" "as long as your mine" and "for good" i was fortunate enough to be able to potray her part in wizard and i, defying gravity, and for good. it made me smile. hahaha

Posted: 10/11/04 at 4:05pmThats GREAT! The Wizard and I is quite challenging! Personally, for me, the easiest Elphaba solo would have to be No Good Deed. The Orchestra makes it sound so much more intense though the song is very good. Stephen Swartz is exrremely talented!

no good deed is one of those songs i think where it depends on comfort ranges in vocals. i think its easy, yet i also feel that for good is much easier then some of the other songs in the show.. just my opinion though.
#38re: Wicked anyone?!
Posted: 10/11/04 at 4:10pmYes its the easiest, but i was talking about solos LOL. Kristin's range is UNBELIEVABLE! i hope Steph can hit those as good as Kristin can! but then again, they wouldnt have chosen Stephanie to do it if she couldnt! LOL

Posted: 10/11/04 at 4:30pmyes. Defying Gravity was arranged so that its a solo peice.. umm. What is this Feeling starts at "What is this feeling so sudden and New".. hmm. wat else.. No good deed starts @ "No good deed goes unpunished" the Wizard and I is Missing Morrible's part. No one Mourns the wicked was completely over hauled! Dancing through life is shorter and i think the rest are pretty much the same
