Also, it really depends on the day ( the # I mean). Get there pretty early. The show is at 2, and I've heard of people getting there at 9 am. Bring stuff to do!! lol. Good luck w/ tix!
Grace: I just gave a quarter to a homeless man. I think it was Johnny Depp.
I did a Wednesday matinee right before Idina left. We got there a little after 8:30 for the 2:00 show and we just made it by 2 tickets. I think there were around 20 tickets given out. Last week we won the lottery and the cancellation line wasn't that bad. I say get there around 10:30ish. It also helps if you don't have anything planned that night because if you don't get tickets for the matinee, you are pretty much guaranteed tickets for the night show. But plan on waiting in line until 2:00. We got our tickets at 1:55--it depends how early the cancellations are.
They really need to make a rule that you physically have to be there to get the tickets. Its ridiculous sometimes. The people in front of us in the cancellation line wanted 6 tickets each! They really need to make a rule thats fair to everyone waiting.
If you don't get tickets for the matinee, everyone who didnt get tickets will go to the front of the evening cancellation line. However, you have to stay in the line the entire day, if you leave, you lose your spot. If you don't get tickets for the night show, you're out of luck but that probably won't happen.
Definitely try the lottery if you have more than one person. Have one stay in line and one enter the lotto, but don't get caught going back and forth because its *technically* not allowed to do both cancellation and lottery.
