I'm seeing Wicked a week Thursday and it is Yom Kippur. Does anyone know if Shoshana takes off Jewish holidays (like did she perform on Rosh Hashana yesterday)? I'm just wondering what my chances are that she will be there that night. Although I know Saycon is good, I had my heart set on seeing Sho.

I have heard that she takes off Jewish holidays, just like Idina did. I think Kristy performed on those days or something (when Idina was still in it). I can't be sure, though.

I saw the show last night (10/4) and she was there.

Actually, the whole cast was.

I assume (though I really have no idea) she'd be there next week.

Perhaps someone at the message board on her web site could tell you for certain.

All I know is she was definitely there last night.

I read in her occasional Q&A a while back that she does NOT take off for Jewish holidays. She claims to not strictly practice the religion.

Yeah, I don't think she'll take off unless she's sick. Even if she's not there, I'd hate you because Saycon's supposedly AMAZING!

You're going to see WICKED on Yom Kippur? Aren't you afraid the theater is going to come crashing down on your head?
