Wicked sold out a month in advance? — Page 2

I have been calling ticketmaster and I gave them like 5 dates that I could go in March to see Wicked and none were available. I asked when the first day is that they aren't sold out and he looked it up and it said August 2nd. Why he couldn't have donw that in the first place is beyond me but whatever. August 2nd seems so far away to have all tickets sold out but I guess whats true can't be changed.

I am most likely going to NY in the beginning/middle of March and seeing Avenue Q, Altar Boyz, Chicago, and Hairspray. If I have the will or time I may go stand in the cancelation line for Wicked but I highly doubt it.
