now that i know its a theme park reduced version it makes a bit more sense, And i must admit cutting fiyero, nessa, boq and morrible doesn't seem to hurt the show much (although the wizard doing the wiiicked witch speech was a little odd) and i must admit having elphaba be american (and speaking english) in the all japanese cast makes the whole outsider thing click more

yes, I think bootlegs are legal in Japan. So, this makes recordings of this show admissable? (he asks hoping Craig will answer "yes")

Yeah, I'd assume they are illegal in Japan too, but if it's a theme park show is that illegal?
