now that i know its a theme park reduced version it makes a bit more sense, And i must admit cutting fiyero, nessa, boq and morrible doesn't seem to hurt the show much (although the wizard doing the wiiicked witch speech was a little odd) and i must admit having elphaba be american (and speaking english) in the all japanese cast makes the whole outsider thing click more
