Folks:

"Tony" is named after a person. It is not an abbreviation like "YMCA" and therefore does not need to be capitalized.

"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."

My favorite tony host has been Angela Lansbury - just out of curiosity - what has been the highest rated tony telecast and who was the host?

I wonder if Barbara Cook would be a good host? I just love seeing her...

btw, David Hyde-Pierce did co-host the emmys a few years back, and was quite funny, but interestingly, I can't remember who his female co-host was that year??

And I love Rosie's enthusiasm for broadway shows!!
