Since i did not get to see My Fair Lady at Segerstrom Center in Costa Mesa last weekend, my last hope to see the beauty of it on stage is if the London Revival will be filmed this summer. I'm hoping it will be show on PBS
Nobody knows. But be aware of 3 things:
1) Trafalgar Entertainment (which films and distributes live events) produced KING & I in London. They're not involved with MFL.
2) The rights are much more complicated for this one because of Warner Bros' involvement with the film. MFL and Pygmalion remain viable properties for feature film remakes, which have significantly higher gross potential than a filmed stage production.
3) KING AND I was more of an event. It won Best Revival, Kelli was reprising her role, and Ken Watanabe is an Oscar nominee. If HHP continues with it in London, he was excellent, but in no way revelatory in the role.
If I were you, I would manage my expectations and assume it won't be filmed.

Then fine by me. Sarcasm intended. Because I didn’t want to the show so badly anyway. But I am a fan of the 1964 movie
