What is pretty certain is that this production will rise or fall on Will Swenson's ability to approximate the genius of Jack Cassidy. But I have high hopes for him as I do for David Pittu as Dr. Sedgwick. Their duet, "You've Got What I Need" is a showstopper if they get it right.
Did not Matt Cavanaugh star in A Texas production? I thought I heard that was going to Bway?

He did a revised version, yeah (I believe it was one that was able to use more of the DC characters and not the generic ones) but it seems to have gone nowhere fast.

Anyone seeing this tonight? Curious to hear reviews....
Cavanaugh did the "revised" version, yes. Did DC dislike the show and pull the plug on allowing characters other than Superman and Lois Lane in the show, or does someone else own parts of those characters?
The Texas production INTENDED to use the actual characters, but ended up using generic versions once DC caught wind of it. I think they're just embarrassed by the idea that it exists.
Seeing it Sunday but wish it was Saturday.

The original Mr S ( Bob Holiday) will be in attendance Sat matinee . Old Bob is now 79. I feel old now.
