It has worked exceptionally well on film - it was called 8 1/2 and it is a masterpiece. Nine doesn't come anywhere near it - not as a stage show, and I think it's safe to say not as a movie, since it won't be made any time soon, if at all.

Okay a little perspective on this story. The reason for the postponement is because of the WGA strike. It has nothing to do with Zeta Jones or a loss of funding.

What people don't seem to realize, is that if the WGA strike continues into the early part of next year virtually all movies made by American film studios will be put on hold. There will be no film production of ANY new movie.

People haven't been hit where they live by the strike yet, but pray for a resolution because the entertainment industry is about to get completely railroaded by this.
