Such a waste of a great theatre ... will it just stay dark until ALW decided to transfer Love Never Dies or will it at least search for a filler? Be an awful shame to let this theatre just close up

Ugh now I wish Lloyd Webber had just paid for Finian's transfer to the Neil Simon. I wouldn't be surprised if they just canned Love Never Dies altogether and tried to get Evita in earlier than expected.

It would really be a shame if they let the theater stand empty for so long...it's one of my favorite Broadway houses, hopefully they put something in there even just as a filler.

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad
