Its allegedly been in the works, for years. But Im thinking well never see it. And, I get it. The bodies were, well, buried already on the first (wonderful) memoir. The post MFL MP SOM would be the best, but I just dont see Julie, so private, doing the promised second volume. Thoughts

Obviously it could still be delayed, but Amazon is currently listing it with an October 15th release date

I’m so curious to read this memoir. Her early years in Hollywood were fairly turbulent and it seems her marriage to Blake Edwards had its own pressures, as well. How deep down the well will Julie go? In her last autobiography, she only just revealed the truth of her paternity to her siblings before publishing the book. She’s always been a very private star, so it’s especially fascinating to see her draw back the curtain.
I’m most excited to read about her experiences filming STAR!. It is a masterpiece of musical cinema and has always deserved far more recognition than it has ever received. I’ve heard a million stories about the making of MARY POPPINS and THE SOUND OF MUSIC, so I can’t wait to hear fresher anecdotes from all of her less remembered films.

I wonder if she'll get into her vocal troubles and Blake Edwards' illness (I believe that was one of the reasons why she hasn't done a feature film since the Princess Diaries sequel) in the new book.
Whatever she's doing, I hope it's a happy and healthy life! Someone tweeted that they saw her in a restaurant last week dining with Carol Burnett, Bernadette Peters, Joel Grey, and Kristin Chenoweth...so at least she has good taste in friends!
