How did anyone pre-order from Amazon? It is not listed there now.
All the pre-ordering was done at the theatre.
"Judging from this thread they will possibly sell 200 copies, and that is hardly enough to justify the mixing, editing and printing of booklets."
Are you crazy? If only the people who said they would buy the cd on this thread bought it they would easily sell 200 copies- and the BWW community is hardly representative of the interest of the rest of the world. I would also think that because the show had such a short run a lot of people will be buying it just out of curiosity. Thousands of copies of this cd will be sold as a conservative estimate.
Also, the cd was recorded the day before the closing notice posted. If they didn't intend to release it they wouldn't have payed the money for the studio time in the first place.
Yes... especially since I will not have had the chance to see it live

Consider yourself fortunate instead of unfortunate. The unfortuante ones are those who had to suffer through it, cast and crew included.
I think that when people hear the CD when it comes out, they will wish that they caught Lestat when it was around. The lead's voices are incredible.

If it's released, then sure. Why not? As far as I can tell, the cast can't really be faulted, and I'm genuinely intrigued as to how dreadful it could really be.
It's not dreadful at all. It's beautiful.
Beautifully dreadful?

Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder. Remember that scene in "Cabaret" between the MC and the gorilla?
To each his own. Enough said.
Yep...but only because Carolee is on it. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

I saw it in San Francisco, so I am eager to hear the score changes, even if they were unsuccessful.
