Looks like a very ecclectic and exciting season!
And Kathleen Turner directing Crimes of the Heart = wow!
Looks like WTF doing what WTF does best: a mix of the old and the new. HERRINGBONE sounds particularly intriguing.

YAY I am so excited! I just found out last week that I am doing an internship with the theatre this summer. Let me tell you the stress of graduating college sucks!
professor - well said! Last year's season was a perfect mix. A Shakespeare, a Tennessee Williams, a classic musical, a contemporary musical, a world premiere, and two other comtemporaries.

Anyone know when more complete casting will be announced?

How is PARTY COME HERE a world premiere?
Wasn't that done already at NYMF?
Last year they announced each show at a time (as far as COMPLETE casting goes). For big names, they announce earlier.
I can't wait to see what Maria Mileaf is directing on the Main Stage!

I still don't get how Party Come Here is a world premiere...
Does anyone know anything about Herringbone beyond what is presented on their site? I have a friend in town and I'm thinking about taking her to it, but she's not as into theatre as I am so I want to make sure it's worth it.
I know it's about a man possessed by a tap dancing dwarf. It's been a hard sell at the box office.
aargh, it's TOO good a season. There's no way I can get to the Berkshires that often this summer...I'm going to have to pick and choose carefully. The problem with WTF is that by the time reviews come out, the show is usually all sold out by that point.
Dissonance looks really interesting. Tourboi, I wonder if Party can claim to be a world premiere because they have worked on the book and have a new director on board, therefore the staging is new? Maybe?
