Jennifer Hope Wills will take on the role of Christine full time beginning Dec. 12. Julie Hanson will return as the alternate Christine, playing Monday nights (and another, unannounced day.) Also returned is Anne Runolfsson as Carlotta (she returned in mid-November.)

Posted: 12/8/06 at 6:44pmInteresting news. I'm seeing TPOTO in the summer, so I'm looking forward to catching Jennifer Hope Wills as Ms. Daae. I've never seen her perform before, but I've heard she's pretty good, so I'm looking forward to it. And hopefully Howard McGillin will still be playing Erik at that time.

My dad is taking his business partner to this show on Tuesday, so they can see Jennifer's first performance!

craftymarley... I believe Jennifer will be performing the matinees. You can always keep checking her calendar, as it is updated a lot:

Posted: 12/9/06 at 11:19amOh, this makes me so happy. As has already been said, she is an amazing person, truly grateful for her success (go to her website!), and of course, has a lovely voice. Can't wait until I go home and finally get to see her!
Arghh! Grammar pet peeve #1: your vs you're. "Your" is a possessive pronoun. "You're" is the contraction of "you are."

Nowhere in the musical is the Phantom referred to as Erik.
Let's not mix the novel and the musical.
