I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but a few weeks ago, on South Park, Wing guest starred as Wing in an episode called "Wing".

At the risk of sounding a horribly uncultured hick, who is she?...I did see the episode of South Park, but that didn't relally elucidate things *note to self don't attempt to extract relevant information from South Park*

I'm pretty sure Wing is NOT a joke. She actually sells out her concerts in NZ (well, probably for obvious reasons.)
But I don't think she's a "parody" type of performer. She takes herself very seriously.

How I love Wing!! I got excited for a minute -- I thought the "Gimme Gimme" she has on her ABBA cd was the one from Thoroughly Modern Millie.
