Without Mentioning Any Names....

I've been reading some of the analysis of musicals here, and I now know what sets the likes and dis-likes apart.......MANY of you are into "Thinking and Deep" musicals, while OTHERS of you are into "Easy to Follow and Not So Deep."

No need to knock each other's tastes! Just now realizing who the cognitive ones are! Interesting...

You've been a member for 11 months. If you're just now figuring out who the cognitive ones are does that or does that not make you a cognitive one?

::GASP:: Someone back talked to Namo... Holy moly!
"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

re: Without Mentioning Any Names....

I would tell you to brace yourself for his wrath, but Namo has recently discovered the "Ignore Users" function, and therefore you are probably dead to him by now.
I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

BroadwayKelly just gave a very succinct answer to my question. And it couldn't be any clearer.

All I can say is "WOW!"

Guess that means I 'aint cognitive.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

re: Without Mentioning Any Names....

Those words make less sense here than they do in the context of Wicked. And that's REALLY saying something.
