Woman in White is on Good Morning America right now! Turn it on for their interview with Maria Friedman. I think she is going to perform as well! 8 AM on the day of Opening! She is amazing!

Awesome song, awesome voice... but, yeah. A little weird that she didn't do a "Woman in White" song for promo. Especially since they were cutting to shots of the marquee pretty constantly throughout the song.

There was a segment on the Today show too about her having breast cancer. They had a short interview with her about it.

I just went back and watched the performance again and I have to say she is quite amazing. The first time I watched it I was just nervous for her but the 2nd time I could just sit back and enjoy it. Singing like that before 9 AM in the morning and on OPENING DAY. She has all my respect and admiration!

Oh and those video clips they are showing were great! All the clips looked amazing. Michael Ball looks great in the suit. As I mentioned before I saw Crawford in London. I think Michael Ball is much better suited for the role. I cannot wait to see this. I have a ticket for tomorrow night!
And how funny was that woman singing in the audience. That always makes me laugh. Especially when they are unsure of the words. :)

I wondered too, but then didn't know if there was superstition about singing something from a show on opening day...

I loved the song she did sing though and she really knocked it out of the park.

I guess NBC Nightly News tonight has an interview with her on as well (that's what the Today show piece was a promo for). Hopefully both NBC and ABC will put the clips on-line and those of us who missed some of them will be able to see them later.

An interview with Maria will be on NBC Nightly news tonight at 6:30 p.m. in NYC.

They were great clips FF. Cannot WAIT to see this show!!!!
