Word on the street about Young Frankenstin

Posted: 1/5/08 at 7:19pmMel Brooks is a very well known name, but that name mostly resonates with baby boomers and older. He is an old school comic genius whose comedy has influenced many throughout the years. Seven years ago he was a genius on Broadway, now a new generation views him differently. He brought a breath of fresh air to Broadway in 2001, that I believe is indisputable. He has not changed that much over the years, but the way he is perceived has certainly changed. However you feel about it, you have to respect his talent and his generation of brillant comedy.

I would say that they know when the show sells out, just cause they would have to know when to stop selling the tickets. Other than that though, I think most of the people involved in the show (ushers, boxoffice people) are only guessing based on how many people walk through doors every night.
Although, this whole post was just my gut feeling, it sort of does make sense.
