It was revived a few years ago in NJ.
I wanted to go but didn't shlep.
I heard it was not the same as the original.
I am a Pippin SNOB. I saw the original 5 times and worshipped
Mr. Schwartz all through high school.
My yearbook page had 'Corner Of The Sky' as my quote.
I would love to see a full production on Broadway.
Simple joys! Ahhhhhh!

I saw the Paper Mill version a few years ago. I liked it. It was very different from the original. Some of the changes were good(The end was changed so it made sense) but a lot of the changes I didnt like(some of the music was rearranged to give it a modern night club feel to it).

I am sooooo excited about this concert. I never got to see the original Pippin on broadway but I have friends who did. I think it would be awesome to have Raul as the leading player and John Tartaglia as Pippin. It's definitely time to revive Pippin!

Cant wait. I love PIPPIN!Here are my thoughts
Pippin: J-Tags He has that innocence about him.
Leading Player: Raul (can he handle the dancing?)
(How about Hugh Jackman for Leading Player if he would do it? From the Tonys we all know he can dance.)
Fastrada: Bebe or Chita would be wonderful.
Bertha: Carole Shelly or Blair Brown?
Cathrine: Sutton
Still pondering Charlemange and Louis.
