World Premiere of the official full trailer for DREAMGIRLS tonight at 10pm!

For those who've missed the announcement, tonight (Wednesday October 18, 2006), the World Premiere of the official full trailer for the film-adaption of DREAMGIRLS will be airing on all the Viacom cable channels (and websites). It will be airing between 10pm-10:15pm and runs almost 3 minutes!

I would say yes -- 9pm-9:15pm Central Time. If anything...you can hold on tight till 10pm Central Time rolls around.

It's worth the wait, I promise you.

I especially love that last one... with Lorell and Deena dressed similarly... in step with each other... and then there's Effie... wearing her own thing... standing slightly apart from the other two girls... just trying to be noticed by fans... and by Curtis.


That picture "paints a thousand words" and it's so TRUE to the story being told.

That costuming is a little "nail on the head" for me, and it really decreases the stakes involved when she is let go -- of course she's gonna leave -- she was never part of the band at all.

despite that, I agree it does look clean and pretty.

As stated on the post -- the World Premiere is tonight at 10pm on all those Viacom channels.

It's expected to be available at the film's official website tomorrow and later tonight (after it's World Premiere) MTV will have it accessible until noon tomorrow on their website.

Nope... none of those videos on the official website are the 'official' trailer, which will be World Premiering in less than an hour on all the Viacom cable channels.

Woo-hoo!
