There are movies, books, plays and CD's that I love passionately. Sometimes the critical and commercial consensus agrees with my opinions, sometimes they don't.
But I stopped getting angry with people who disagreed with my opinions about art, years ago. Letting it get to me only gave me heartburn.
And actually, I have learned to appreciate a good of deal of humor aimed at things in popular entertainmnet that I love. Why? Because it's good to be able to laugh at yourself and when people poke fun at art that you love, in a way, it is a dig at you because they are laughing at something you value. That's why people take criticism of their favs so personally.
But folks, having a sense of humor is a good thing. Besides, didn't your moms teach you as children that if you're teased, the best thing you can do is join in with the laughter? Being overly sensitive, makes people determined to tease you more.
Rentheads, take note. Learn to laugh it off. Besides, NOTHING is above criticism OR satire. Understand that, and you'll have happier lives.

I don't like this. But people are aloud to think what they want, but i'm not always going to agree with it.
This argument is stale. Let's get a new topic, shall we?
"Rhode Island is neither a road nor an island . . . DISCUSS!!!"
People please, let this one go once and for all. In a week a NEW YEAR will be upon us.
Forget about this, this isn't important. This isn't what matters. This is unnecessary B.S.
Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
