And by "complete disregard," you mean to the whopping number of two people who ventured their ill-informed, ridiculous pronouncements? What "regard" should be given such poppycock, anyway? Mister Matt, I appreciate a good laugh, but really........

And If I recall correctly, there were more than a few positive reactions to this show expressed on this board when it opened. So you see, I didn't disregard other opinions after all.

You and the other poster both lack the information to declare this, or any other show the worst of the century, whether you consider century as the 21st century (you do not know what shows will be produced in the next 88 years), or the past hundred years (you do not possess the knowledge of every show produced during that time span).

It is not a question of "winning;" I am neither happy nor unhappy, since I don't care about your opinion; and if you meant the century thus far, then great.

If you care so little about my opinion then why did you spend so many posts trying to undermine it?

I'm not flattering myself, I'm sure you don't care about what I think (which is naturally mutual, btw) but I do have to wonder why you spent so much effort disagreeing with me.

I didn't make any factual errors.

I never stated anything as fact at all. I said if Lucky Guy opened in 2012 it was my choice for worst show.

Belated thanks for informing me that it didn't open in 2012.

Then you implied I was being hypocritical for not googling the info. Alas, I have never chastised anyone (new or old) for not conducting a web search before asking a question, so that was a blatant fail on your part.

And finally you reduced my opinion to an "ill informed pronouncement" because you didn't realize the common understanding of the phrase "____ of the century" implies only up to the present.

I'm delighted you enjoyed Lucky Guy. I did not.

Emotional Creature was painful.

The Outgoing Tide was tremendously dull.

House for Sale was too bizarre for it's own good.

(takes out crumpled speech) I totally didn't expect to win this, but I wrote some notes here just in case.....(reading from paper):

"Thanks to the cast and crew, especially After Eight....thank you god.....(chokes up)...I used to watch people win these on TV when I was a kid....and I just never thought....(holds back tears)....I never thought a kid from a poor family could ever make it here....oh god - it's flashing 'wrap it up; 60 seconds'....um....(looks up to the sky)...this is for you Ma'."
