Call me odd... most disturbing plays?

'night, Mother

HAIRSPRAY is next NBC Musical...

Please NOT John Revolta as Edna. Harvey please!

Brian Bedford has died at 80

He was exquisite in The Importance of Being Earnest. So sad.

HOLIDAY INN to Open on Broadway, Fall 2016

With the exception of the song White Christmas, the songs in the film of Holiday Inn are completely different than the songs in the film White Christmas.

From the film Holiday Inn:

I'll Capture Your Heart Singing
Lazy
You're Easy to Dance With
White Christmas
Happy Holidays
Let's Start the New Year Right
Abraham
Be Careful, It's My Heart
I Can't Tell a Lie
Easter Parade
Song of Freedom

Seating advice please: View From the Bridge

On the other hand, I sat in the center orchestra in row K, and I thought it was a great viewpoint to see the show from.

Theatre Talk more enjoyable without Michael Riedel

because it's the only theatre talkshow we have, but it would be so much better without this hateful clown in a dadcoat.

I watch On Stage every week on NY1 (TW Cable)

Steve Pasquale in Robber Bridegroom!

I LOVE The Robber Bridegroom, so I can't wait to see this.

Best Musical: Who Will Take The Other 3 Slots?

Hey WiCkEDrOcKS - if your current avatar is Stephen Boyer, I have to go back and see that show again!

Remembering the original DAMES AT SEA on its opening night on Broadway

Dames At Sea actually opened at the Bouwerie Lane Theatre on December 20, 1968, and transferred to the larger Theater de Lys on April 22, 1969. Previously, there had been a shorter production that played the Cafe Cino.

Miss Saigon out, Aladdin in

The Imperial would be perfect for this new production but is it a smart move? I think the Shubert would be a good choice.

Did I miss something? I haven't heard that Matilda is closing anytime soon.

KING CHARLES III Previews

A rave from After Eight!

Lucille Lortel Theater seating question?

MCC has their season at the Lortel, but in between it's open for use by other people. MCC just rents it. They are working on building their own theatre(s) though. A think that's a couple of years away.

And the theatre is small, So I would guess just about any seat would be good.

Wonderland: The Musical Performance Rights

I suppose you could write to Jack Murphy and enquire about the rights:

KING CHARLES III Previews

That picture I posted is from the London production. However, the set on Broadway looks identical to that.

KING CHARLES III Previews

I saw this Saturday Evening, and is my favorite play in quite awhile. It's very Shakespearean in the very best way.

Now if only the Oregon Shakespeare Festival could do as well putting Shakespeare in a modern vernacular as Mike Bartlett does with this original play....

The set (you can see very well but there are 3 steps to that dais:

Andrew Rannells Joining Hamilton

eperkins, jinx.

Great minds think alike.

Andrew Rannells Joining Hamilton

I wonder if Russell Tovey will also be out of A View From The Bridge - although it seems unlikely that he could be out for a month that includes previews and opening. Perhaps his part in Looking will not be so big.

Allegiance Previews

Back up on TDF for tonight and tomorrow night.

Allegiance Previews

Back up on TDF for Wednesday evening....

24-hour deal on Allegiance next week
