Scary Spice as Mimi (What is she? 40?)
Diana Ross in the Wiz (film)
Kathie Lee/Liza Minelli in Victor/Victoria
Toni Braxton in Beauty and the Beast

Scary Spice, without a doubt, in RENT. I saw her twice, and was pretty horrified. More disturbing than her singing was her acting, however. "Angel was one of my closest friends," said with a thick British accent? Try again. This is Broadway.

On the wayyy other hand, Drew's made really good progress as Mark. He's not my favorite (probably not even top 10) Mark, but he's not bad at all.

JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

What about AIDA? Toni Braxton, Michele Williams, Taylor Danye? Did anyone see them?

Or Beauty with Toni or Michelle Gayle? Heard it was pretty entertaining when Belle turns into a soul queen.....

Can you count Deborah Gibson as a stunt casting these days?

Aaron Carter in "Seussical"...couldn't sing a note and seemed like he didn't know where he was supposed to be on stage, like it was his first day of rehearsals or something...

I saw Michele, and she was good. Her singing was better than her acting, and she tried to do this weird accent that would drop in and out. But, all in all it was a decent performance
