Ok, whatever, I am so seriously confused and tired of this. I never said anything to indicate I was a victim. Someone else used the words "shoot me down" and I said there was no need to say things like that.

But whatever. Enjoy your high-horse. Cheerio!

Um...okay? I am not on a high horse, I make mistakes too. However, there seems to be no way for me to get through to you about what I mean because I've been labeled as a bad guy apparently.

Likewise, cheerio.

ETA:

I noticed what you meant with that "shoot me down". I misread there, sorry. That's why I got a tad bit passioned. <--see? Mistake.

Howevever, I still feel the same way I did before. Again...::shrugs:: I am just hoping myself, I suppose, that you wouldn't wish ill on a show for the reasons you have.

How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

Personally, I don't think that it is a good idea for someone to wish a show ill just because they don't flat out like it without at reason.

There have been times where I have heard of a new show opening on broadway and thought that the show wouldn't be a good one due to matieral not casting and hoped that it didn't run long due to the lousy material.

But, I NEVER have and NEVER will wish a show ill just because I flat out don't like it or don't like one of the actors in it.

Beauty did have a great run. One long enought that it has touched everyone that posts here on this forum in one way or another. Its closing was bound to bring out some sad feelings. However, Tarzan closed because disney was loosing a few million with it being opened and realized it was a mistkae to produce in the first place. The reason why they didn't move Beauty there is two fold. One is that it coasts a ton of money to move a show. Now, this is just personal speculation. But, I think that they didn't move beauty not only because there was no where to move it to. But, because it was not worth spending the money that it would take to move the show. Also, The Richard Rogers has a small stage space. If you go onto broadway.com, there was a backstage video of tarzan that showed how narrow the backstage area is. There is just no room for a show like disney to fit into that theatre.

You have to realize, that not every show can fit into every theatre. And, that even though the house space might be huge that doesn't always mean that there is huge theatre space. For example, A show like wicked might fit into the Hilton or the New Amsterdam ( aside from the fact that disney owns/leases the theatre from the Nederlanders) but it wouldn't fit into the Shubert or Broadhurst.

I'm not supposed to tell anyone, but I know for a fact that the Lunt cried all night before deciding it had spent enough time on this long, slow breakup and it deserved a shot with someone new.
