Has anyone ever written to Patti? I sent a letter to her name, care of the Eugene O'Neil Theatre and it was returned because it was 'not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward"

I put: Patti Lupone, c/o Euguge O'Neil Theatre, 230 West 49th Street, New York NY 10036

Does she not take letters, or do I have the wrong address?

That is the correct address. The only thing I see wrong is the spelling of Eugene (you put Euguge, but that is probably just a typo in your message, not what you actually put.) Really curious as to why this came back...

No idea why it came back. My friend sent a letter to her and she sent her a signed playbill so that's weird.

What is your dream role? My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I wrote to her agent and got a signed headshot back. You should try that. The address is on her website.

I just emailed her last night, and this morning she emailed me back! God bless Patti Lupone.

She really is wonderful. I sent her a letter and she responded with a Playbill. She has replied to my email. She rocks!

I've been agonizing over writing her an e-mail because I've got a question for her, but every time I meet her I say something weird and stupid and I think I will actually manage to say something even stupider over e-mail.

I've e-mailed her through ask patti before and got a response back a few days later.

I adore that woman.
