Craig- Thanks ! Dont worry - I am sure I will get over it - after I see the show. Yup- I know It has nothing to do with the production and creative team- I am sure they were as frustrated as I am yesterday..

I dont think so- because for those people who bought their tickets from the box office- were told yesterday to go to box office to get a refund or EXCHANGE IT FOR ANOTHER DATE- which means that they plan to go beyond 5/27 cancelled performance.

I truly believed that yesterday's cancellation were due to stage technical problems
bec. they made us wait as they were supoosedly fixing the issue- but after 2 mins
they decided to cancell the show.

and yes- they were selling tickets yesterday for later dates-j*

"One lady even made a comment .."MAYBE IT WAS A DUD, ANYWAY !!"

WTF?!?!?

Who goes to the theater with this thought in mind?!?!?!

These are the same people who use their cell phones to order pizza in the middle of Act 2, open plastic candy wrappers throughout the show, and talk to whomever they came with nonstop during the productions.

For some reason, that comment just set me off!

Well , in my case -- we have 2 tickets for the 5/27 show. one from TDF and other from Telecharge (thru playbill discount) I guess my TDF will be automatically refunded and the other one , no matter what, if I mail it back -- I will still get a full refund. At least now, we can sit together if we choose to see the show again. The funny thing about the HM - when he made that announcement- I even spoke out in the crowd and ask him-- for the Telecharge case- for the automatic refund ! I am sure, there was just a misunderstanding, but as i said I will still get a full refund. In the case of that Lady saying., "IT is a dud, anyway"
I have a feeling she was just doing that bec. she was disappointed ! and wanted to feel better.

BTW-- It was not completely a waste of time for me. I was able to workout at NYSC behind the Netherlander Theater (using my BSC passport) pumped up a little bit, wear my tank top and literally
"STRUT MY STUFF ON BROADWAY" and have a nice dinner on my favorite city in the world. Besides- there's nothing to do in Boston, Going to P-Town on Memorial Day Weekend on a Lesbian Season, huh? ( just kidding- we love lesbians ! )

I am still working on the pics- you guys have to see the face of these people waiting for Xanadu for the 5/27 cancelled show - youll definitely get a laugh !! Its so hilarious-j*
