Our most eagerly awaited CD of the year -- the original Broadway cast recording of the Broadway smash XANADU -- is now on sale exclusively at www.psclassics.com. The CD doesn't hit stores until January 8th, but because we know lots of customers are clamoring for this CD, we'll begin shipping this coming Tuesday, a full month early, so you can have XANADU in time for the holidays!
In fact, because the CD -- filled with hit songs like "Magic," "Evil Woman," "Suddenly," "All Over the World," and "Have You Never Been Mellow," and accompanied by a 24-page full color booklet with dozens of photographs -- is a great holiday gift, we're offering a special: The CD is selling for $15.95 at our website, but you can also buy four copies for just $53.80, a $10 saving. Great gifts for family and friends!

The New York Times called XANADU "Heaven on wheels! Outlandishly enjoyable and irresistible!" Variety tagged it "Glamrock-meets-disco-meets-faux classical -- insidiously catchy! A guilt-free pleasure!" And the Associated Press proclaimed it “A fast and funny stage musical that cheerfully does a bang-up job at entertainment! Enormously ingratiating!" If you haven't seen the show, pick up the CD and see what all the fuss is about. And if you have seen the show, pick up the CD and relive all the fun on disc!

They're playing the CD in the lobby (from the master) & it sounds great. And they really don't have the CD at the theater hidden away as some people have said (trust me - I asked the people who wud know) Nobody's gonna get it before the 11th (unless PS Classics ship it early) but I'll be fighting the crowd to get it. It's gonna be multiple madness that day - haha.

So glad thay you got to see Patti and loved her !! Wasnt she great !!?? As far as the OBCR, its pretty common for people to get advanced copies of CD's. There are people that are going to get it early--- might just be a day or two earlier, but before its available to the public. Happens all the time.
Haha - I know what you're saying Andrew. I told Linda I can picture her with her pockets stuffed with CD's the minute they come in. OH - btw - Cheyenne told me he & Kerry just did some promos & some other publicity stuff for the show. So hopefully that will give the BO a nice boost yay.
