I'm going to be in NYC the weekend of 9/19 and wanted to see "Xanadu." I noticed that Playbill.com is offering heavily discounted seats from 9/9 to 10/31--any seat they have available is only $49! I just wondered if there was some particular reason for this--is a major member of the cast going to be out? Are they anticipating a drop in sales now that Whoopi will be gone? Or is it just a good discount?
Thanks!
September is a notoriously slim month attendance wise, so the discount is steep in the hopes that it'll bring in a large number of people.
It's just a good discount. Take advantage of it.
It's on TDF for 35.50 + 4.oo fee.
