YANK! - two readings for producers!

Very excited about this. The first reading on March 11 at the York theater sold out quickly, so a second reading at the Zipper factory was scheduled on March 10. Bobby Steggert, Nancy Anderson & Jeffry Denman will be re-creating their roles from last autumn's production at The Gallery Players, Brooklyn.

Keeping my fingers crossed that YANK! may well be inching its way to a Manhattan production!!!

I did not catch any of the NY workshops or the Brooklyn mounting but was blown away by the San Diego production which I saw tonight. If you live within driving distance of San Diego, run to see it! It's the same director as in NY but a local cast. The actor playing Stu, Tom Zohar, is a revelation--- I found myself crying at the end of the show- and I never cry in the theatre. I hope this show gets the future it deserves both in NY and in future regional stagings.

This show is incredible. I saw it at The Gallery Players last year, and I am so glad I made the trip out there to see it.

I hope one of the Off-Broadway non-profits (The Vineyard, perhaps?) picks this up, which would hopefully lead to a Broadway run.
