Finally, a kickstarter campaign I can get behind. Although, I do love the second demo recording. There are other shows that don't even have as good of a demo.

Saw the first preview at York Theater. Amazing show. Not sure how much it has changed over the years. But I may have to contribute to this. Love the show.

Wasn't David Cromer supposed to do a revised version of this?

@Dollypop- Yes, he was involved in a few workshops when it was eyeing a Broadway transfer. The Zellniks re-wrote a lot, and most actors (I think everyone but Bobby and Tally) were re-cast. Once Broadway wasn't happening, the writers reverted to the York script/cast/production, which was directed by Igor Goldin.

My friend was asking me the other day on why a company like PS Classics is holding a Kickstarter campaign to fund a cast album? He asked this a legit company that can produce the money themselves, why will I donate money to a CD recording when the profits come in, it will all go to PC Classics?

I'm skeptical they will get the $$$ now :-/. But they have engaged so much publicity/logistics over this it almost sounds like it is happening anyway. I wonder if someone will 'donate' the rest of the money so they can still take in the $$$$ anyway. I will be a bit annoyed if they do this because it goes against the spirit of Kickstarter.
