There are at least a dozen threads on this already.
But, just so you know..most of them will not stage door after a matinee.

I'm not sure how much luck you'll have getting the principals after a matinee, but I suppose it's worth a shot.

^ He's the only one who seems to consistantly come out, so you should have a good chance to meeting him.

Generally, cast members will take pictures, but there might be certain days when they're in a rush. It's not required of them to, so if refuse, don't take it personally. The YF cast seems like a nice cast, so there shouldn't be any worries.

When I went to YF, everyone in the cast was very friendly! Hope you enjoy the show and get lots of pictures!

Nobody came out at that matinee, BTW, except for 2 ensemble girls, Craig Waletzko (a swing) and Justin Patterson, who was subbing for Shuler that day.
Where do they go out if not through the stagedoor?

Don't bet on them coming out
I saw a YF matinea and not one of them (except Fred Applegate) came out

They all used to come out at night shows, but now I think they alternate or something... Megan usually comes out, and sometimes you'll catch Sutton, Andrea, Shuler, and Chris but you'll VERY rarely see Roger... I've only seen him at the stagedoor once out of 5x... Megan is 4 for 5

I was there 2 weeks ago on a Friday night and not one single person came out.

I find the avoidance of the stage door by the Young Frankenstein cast kind of confusing. Is there any other show in recent memory in which the cast did so little stagedooring?
"What was the name of that cheese that I like?"
"you can't run away forever...but there's nothing wrong with getting a good head start"
"well I hope and I pray, that maybe someday, you'll walk in the room with my heart"

You can easily catch Roger in the lobby.
I saw the show last Wednesday and as even before the lobby was close to empty, I noticed Roger heading for the front door with a cap on. I didn't interrupt him because he obviously had no desire to stick around, which is completely fine! He put up an amazing performance and that's all he gets paid to do.

I suspect they don't come out the stage door because they don't want to be associated with this.

I hear that Sutton is notorious for not stagedooring. She's kind of shy with all of her shows.

I think SirNotAppearing means that Young Frankenstein isn't as bad as The Little Mermaid.

Is this all for matinee only? What If I stagedoor for the evening show? Do more come out then? How has Megan been lately?

jonna-i ended up going tonight and megan came out, signed autographs, and stopped for pictures. she was extremely sweet and talked to everyone there. there were only about 10-15 other people there. so, i guess it depends on what day you catch her and how big the crowd is. i'm not sure if sutton or roger came out, because i left after seeing megan and shuler.
