if i am seeing another show on the evening i want to visit the stagedoor and it gets out after YF (by 5 minutes) will i not be able to catch some of them at the stagedoor? i will have to run over from the other theater. how long does it take for them to come out? especially megan? like how long after the show is done until megan comes out? i dont want to miss her but i hope i can make it in time!
it took megan about 20-25 minutes to come out when i went last week.

Last night Megan, Andrea, and Justin came out. We were told Shuler was going to but I had to leave at 10:15 so there is a chance he came out later. Sutton was out but her understudy did not come out

I am so happy to hear Megan comes out more!!! :) So she does pictures u guys say? I am so excited I love Megan
every time I went to see Young frankenstein Megan came out and took pictures. there were not that many people waiting at the stagedoor. but she was very nice she waited until everyone got what they wanted.
when I went she talked with everyone but she was in a bit of a rush and she apologized that she couldn't take pics with individuals but she didn't mind if we took pics of her.

roger bart almost never comes out the stage door. to catch him u have to wait at the stage door before the first show of the day about 45 minutes early he could come in at any time. came in from the left when i saw him. after the last show he puts on regular clothes and walks out the front with everyone else onto 42nd street. when i went i saw megan coming in before the show about 25 minutes before the show it was me and three other ppl waiting. she rushed in and said "nope very late nope" and wouldnt sign anythign or even say hi i thought it was very rude of her she had her driving (who was a stringbean) escort her to the door so we wouldnt idk force her to sign anything? but idk she came off as real hollywood. after the show no one came out except for applegate and shuler but we had to wait an hour and a half. and the stage door guys told us they would all come out. then they kept telling us "oh andrea left she wasnt feeling good" "suttons long gone" "megan is in her car and gone" is was very frustrating to not have any of the main cast come out. maybe getting tony nominations DOES have something to do with cast atitude.??!!!ive stood outside the stage door for many shows and never had this frustrating of an experience.even though i know ill probably get bashed about megan i dont care because it was just my observation of the way she was acting.
Not totally defending her for at least not saying hi, but 25 minutes before curtain does seem to be VERY late.

She was very nice when I saw her before the show.

yes but there was literally 4 of us outside. and she doesnt come in till about half hour into the show? she was amazing in the show though. love her voice. just wish she would have been polite.
Is it just me or does every other post on the subject of YF seem to suggest that either Roger or Sutton or Megan was out of a particular performance?
I know that the YF stage door is a real crap-shoot (scuse my language
) but I'm mainly interested because I saw the show in April and didn't see ANY of the main cast afterwards apart from Andrea Martin (who didn't do much for me in the role of 'Frau Blucher' sp??).
I'm hoping to go back at the end of next month and hope to meet a few of the other principal cast members before they leave the show. I'm sure YF will still be doing good business, but I'm not particularly interested in seeing it after 2-3 of the OBC leave the show. Just my personal take on recent events / cast rumours.
Because I'm only going to be in NYC for 2-3 days I'm quite worried about the recent absences I've read about-does anyone know if there's a pattern to it?

no ive been plannin on joining for a while just never did. anddddd i just did. soooooooo yeah
If Megan was going in at 25 minutes to curtain, then she was already late, so it would make sense for her to be in a total hurry.

andddddddd then she slipped away mysteriously after the last show. hmmmmm? idk i can understand why people are saying she was really late and stuff but THERE WAS FOUR OF US OUT THERE!!! and if she said it to u personally you would understand more. she was just rude to us.
Can you please stop whining? If actors come in any time after half-hour, they can be fined. She wasn't going to be even MORE late to stop for you. This is why it's rude to pre-show. Think about if you were late to work, but had a bunch of people you didn't know that wanted to talk to you and get pictures with you when all you really need to do is go to work.
Get over it.
I do see where you would think it was rude. She could/should have said "I'm sorry I'm very late, I can't sign" or something. But she doesn't have to sign.

andsym, Megan was very kind at the stage door when I met her, but she does have a life that shouldn't be subjected to fans desperate needs for attention. These actors all actually have lives and
you might want to try getting one? just a thought.
