I just found out my mom is taking me to NYC for a weekend for my college graduation present and I'm trying to pick out a show for us to see. We're going to be there the 11th through the 13th and I'm not sure what show to take us to see.
My mom is going so things like Avenue Q and Spamalot she just wouldn't enjoy. My first choice was The Pajama Game but the site I was looking at said it closes tonight.
Also - does anyone know if the majority of the Original cast members of Spelling Bee are still on Broadway?

Well, Dan Fogler left and Jesse Tyler Ferguson(sp?) is leaving but...Barrett from Avenue Q is going to start!
Oh- but you said 11th-13th. If you mean July, then Jesse will still be in it- I think
Hairspray is a great show.
I'm sure other's will give you more...
Edit: Jay also left and GREG STUHR is the new Panch

My mom and I went to see Avenue Q..... but she liked Wicked better... oh well -_-'
I would definitely try to see
Hairspray
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Jersey Boys
or
The Drowsy Chaperone
EDIT: moved my face to the same line

I doubt you can get tickets, but "The Color Purple" would be the best two and a half hours of your life.
