I gotta say I'm really surprised that no one has reported on the show from last night yet.
What a wonderfully put together, well written and astonishingly performed night. Funny and touching at once, and Ms. Scott in the best voice I've ever heard her.
And quite honestly, the YouTube portion alone was worth the price of admission. Although it makes me wonder if she has, in fact, had similar correspondence with "liveforbroadway08" whom "broadwayislove08@earthlink.net" is most certainly based on.
I for one would love to see the show preserved in audio format... I think it would be a crime for her own company not to do that.

Hopefully she'll do it again sometime. I heard it was too good to just be done once.
It was so polished, and clearly workshopped for a while - I would be VERY surprised if it was only done this once.
It's a stand alone show, truly. I know I would have enjoyed it even if I wasn't familiar with her work.

Was there a set? I always wonder, since they were using the Eugene O'Neil. Was it packed?
It was the Spring Awakening set with a few extra props and pictures on the wall.
The house was packed, and lots and lots of Broadway names. Was a couple seats over from Ashley Brown. Lots of Mermaid folks all around, Rosie O'Donnell, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and many more. A very exciting night and Sherie got a well-deserved extended standing ovation at the end.
Wish I could have been there
Thank you for the report
It was a lot of fun! Her voice was just so powerful last night! I loved her three Garland songs a lot also.
I was there last night as well, I absolutely loved it. I had seen the YouTube potion at her show at the Zipper last year and the changes that were made were all for the better. I actually took a friend to the show who doesn't go to Broadway shows and had no clue who Sherie is and she absolutely loved the show.
I wish I could have seen this. Sherie is one person who's voice actually sounds soooo much better in person than on recording. That doesn't happen too often. I love her.

I really hope she does this show again. I'm so happy to hear that it was great. Wish I could have been there!
I think it was in the interview she gave on this site that she mentions that the idea is to preserve the show on video rather than audio, which would be fantastic!
I wish I could have been there, glad that Sherie was as great as expected.
It was one of the best nights I've had at the theatre thus far this year. Sherie was absolutely great, she really sold the entire thing perfectly. It was both extremely funny and very touching, and it would be a shame if she doesnt perform it again. I'm so glad I decided to go to it.
I REALLY hope that she does it again and/or at least there's a video. It would be a shame for more people not to get to see her show, since it was really well done. I thought it was great that she did something that was creative rather then the normal get up and sing songs she likes to sing (not that there's anything wrong with that but...). I, also, had people with me who had no idea who she was or much about Broadway and they loved it. She was not only funny, but also very touching. I thought it was a great show!
Anyone have a song list?
Oh and while the YouTube bit was absolutely hilarious and both Sherie and Tyler were brilliant during it, I was hoping he didnt really exist. Of course when I got home I checked youtube and there live4broadway08 is doing "My Strongest Suit" (Tyler really had it down pat). It makes me wonder how much of that bit was actually true

Anyone care to give a run-down of what happened? Like how did she segue between songs and what not?
Definitely was a great show. The title was extremely fitting. (But of course, I knew that ahead of time.) She really has such a powerful voice, and her stories intertwinced were entertaining. We had amazing seats... front row, dead center of the mezz. It was a great spot to also watch for actors coming in!
The afterparty was great too. We got to spend some time talking with Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael Mayer, Tyler Maynard, and Kelli O'Hara, all of whom were very nice. We even got the chance to talk to Sherie. I probably looked like an idiot... I didn't know what to say!
Definitely a night we'll never forget!
I also got excited when I saw my name on the short Benefactor list! What a shock! Although the only problem was there was a typo and my last name had some letters switched around!
There's some video on broadway.com: http://www.broadway.com/Gen/Buzz_Story.aspx?ci=562975#
wow, that was great coverage!!
Wow, that sounds like a really good show!
The article on the show (https://www.broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=26562) says Sherie Rene Scott was in Wicked? I might be going crazy, but I'm pretty sure that's not right.
That's what I said..... That was definantly a typo or leaked info hahaha

Great video! Just makes me wish I was there even more. And the whole Wicked thing has to be a typo
If you saw her benefit at the Gay and Lesbian Center a year or two back you saw the first half of the show. From what I understand, if you saw her show at the Zipper you saw the second half. Both halves were excellent for my money. I hope there's a future here, but who knows?
Is there a song list?
Come on Sherie, bring it to Los Angeles!

It was a great night. Sherie Rene Scott was in a great voice and the show is very professional. The audiences were definitely her big fans and worship her. The standing ovation and applause were so long and Sherie Rene Scott has to ask several times before she could be able to speak.
I'm sure many of us love to have an encore becasue we just wanted MORE.
Spring Awakening set and lighting were perfect for the show as well.
