Posted: 5/24/05 at 10:21pmi remeber hearing that this production is still hinging on irving berlin's estate giving the ok, since mel said they won't do it without "putting on the ritz" being included.

Posted: 5/25/05 at 2:05amyeah i hope it gets the ok on that, it simply wouldn't be the same without it. I just hope it'll be written soon and be up on Broadway while Mel Brooks is still alive. He's so old but he's still kicking and doing well it seems like!
