I was thinking about all the shows we've seen and I wondered something....when you make a list of all the shows you've seen...do you include just Broadway, West End, Off Broadway, tours, etc. or do you go all the way back to any show you've seen on stage, including high school productions. Just kind of a fun thing to think about.
I put them in categories, Broadway first, then national tours then regional/stock, then community and college then high school. Chronologically of course within each category. If I have time I include my star ratings. If you do ti any other way you are WRONG!
That was my dilemma...do I categorize like JoeK, yet list them all. Or, do I stick with professional shows like OnceaMonth does? I saw a couple of awesome shows at Weathervane Theater in New Hampshire years and years ago, though I do believe they were equity, so they'd count. I've also seen a really great high school production of Into the Woods, yet I just can't quite let myself count that as a "show I've seen" until I see it done by professionals. Anyway, just kind of a fun thing to think about while being lazy the day before Thanksgiving!
I don't include HS productions, but I list the whole lead cast of ever B'way, tour, and Off-Broadway, the date, and the seats, and if it was a mat/eve.
