I want to see if we have similar taste in shows. If you tell me your favorite show, I will tell you if I like it. I am curious. You guys are all very diverse.

wicked,q, or shrek??
I have the popcorn all ready to go: just waiting for the fun to begin.
She disliked nearly 1/2 of your favorites....how does that qualify as similar tastes?
Wicked - I saw Wicked for the first time alone and I hate intense love stories. I think that's why I didn't like Wicked.
Q - I found it amusing but it didn't wow me like some shows.
Shrek - I haven't seen it yet. I just figure I won't like it.
What shows do you like dramamama? Because right now I like 0 of yours (since you did not even list them) so I would say I have similar taste as mike does.

Okay, that makes sense.
I do like Thoroughly Modern Millie, millie : )
Isn't this the same person who said that if we aren't diehard Wildhorn fans and aren't moved by his work, that we are all heartless bastards?

That may be one of the most ridiculous comments I have ever heard. You haven't seen the show and you are judging it? What if Charles Isherwood didn't see a show but wrote review saying he thought it would be bad and wouldn't like it so he didn't see it? Ever heard the very famous phrase "Don't judge a book by it's cover?" Just because I show is based off of a silly children's movie does not mean it bad. Sure it's no West Side Story but it's really pretty good. I recommend you see it, it's really a fun night at the theater. So after you go see it get back to us and tell us your fair opinion that really matters.

Well since she joined yesterday then unless she's a sock, no.
There is a reason for the absence of my favorite choices.
Drunk, Have you ever judged a show before seeing it? Yes. I have heard some of the music. I know the story. I'm not interested. I know a lot of people judged the recent Memphis. Don't bitch at me because I do what you do.

There is a difference between not being interested in something and actually declaring you don't like the show. Sometimes I am not impressed with the music or video clips of the show or even someone's synopsis, and I can say I am not interested. But I can't say I don't like the show, and if I have the opportunity, I might even see it. Hey, I might even like it.
Now, the whole premise of this thread was to list shows, and you were supposed to say if you liked them or not. How do you know if you actually like a show unless you have seen all the elements of the show put together onstage? Sometimes I have not been impressed with the bits and pieces of a show prior to seeing it, but seeing everything onstage was an enjoyable experience, and I came out liking it.
