I saw a local production of this show tonight, and I really enjoyed it. Such a fun show. I went right home and downloaded the album. Did anyone see the off Broadway production?

So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?

I am - I saw it at Uptown tonight - fabulous production (see my review on the Dallas board)!

I never really liked my bootleg of the OffBway production so I wasn't planning on seeing it...

It was definitely a really fun night at the theatre. What I love is that it is such a feel good show, and while it definitely addresses gay themes and issues, I think it really speaks about acceptance and tolerance in general.
